Here's a funny bio on Lou Brock's 67 Topps, proclaiming his defensive prowess.
While Lou came up in 62 as a CF, and played mostly RF in 63, in 1964 and 65 and 66 he was almost exclusively in left field. And I don't ever recall him being considered an outstanding thrower or defensive wizard. Am I wrong on this? |
