The Satchel Paige card is not only a tough 2nd series card....it has been proven that this card was Short-Printed within this series.
I acquired my Paige card in 1982 when it was very affordable. If I was to tell you what I paid for it, it would blow your mind. ......![]() Another tough 2nd series card is Larry Doby's rookie card. This card was the last one I needed to complete my 98-card (+ the 3 variations) 1949 LEAF set. Please don't call these cards "1948". They are strictly a 1949 issue. The TPG's have incorrectly dated these cards. ![]() TED Z . |
