Here's a 1947 New York Giants cap from my collection.
It was worn by Hank Gowdy, who was with the Giants three times during his career from 19101911, 19231925 and 1947-1948 as a coach. He was the only major league player that served in both World Wars (as to my knowledge). Furthermore, he was also a member of the 1914 Miracle Braves. (The cap is in pretty perfect condition for its age)
