I agree with Jay on this issue. I think that we (collectors) generally tend to over estimate the number of examples of a card that are slabbed. Of course there will always be some outliars such as 52' Mantle and T206 Wagner.

I would guess you could double or more the pop reports for a true population. As time goes that will change but I think there are a lot of old school collections that aren't slabbed (yet). I have always thought that there is a lot more we haven't seen....

So any guesses as to the graded pop of the true 1925 tint version within the larger graded pop that has labeled both '26 and '25 as '25?

How many mistakes are there? Personally, I have no idea as I have never seen (studied) the mistakes and thought about their frequency vis a vis the real 1925s.
