No cynicism here, Peter. Empathy is a rare and precious 'attribute' of us human
beings. There are certainly proclivities of the self in that direction but often require much nurturance and practices to effectuate reality in real circumstances. Peter, I suspect it is time to agree to disagree and not take this thread too far down the philosophical and linguistic highway. Certainly, offline at some point might well be quite interesting and refreshing. all the best, ole buddy barry
