I should have mentioned that I got the Grove when I was 16 back in 1989 at the Pier 92 show in NYC. It is as permanent a fixture in my collection as I have.

#181 Ruth the Green color just reminds of some 1930's minty fresh candy my grandfather would have had as a kid Gehringer- the purple background just screams Bengough- he's saluting the owner and the rest of the goudey set Ripped these off ebay

I always loved the sky and background on the Klein.

Love the green camo looking background, almost foreshadowing his role in WWII 1933 Goudey Moe Berg.jpg The red Ruth is probably my favorite of the 4. I picked this one up around 2000. It's still raw and no plans to grade it.. hopefully there are no alterations I'm missing! 33 ruth149.jpg
