Thanks everyone for the kind words and suggestions.
After hearing the opinions so far, I am leaning towards either leaving it alone or just having the tape and debris removed. I think I read in a post somewhere that a member here, though I don't remember who, sends his to be "stabilized" or something like that. I'd love to hear from him on this as well. Mark
