Wow...5am EST!!! It seems that your winning bid was probably the second to last bid in the auction. I can tell because in the search settings, one of the choices will list photos by most recent bid. Your photo shows up as the second most recent, so you must've been the second to last bid prior to it ending. Damn! You west coast guys really have the advantage in auctions that end this way. Great photos everyone. Congrats.

OK Here are my pickups. I don't collect as an investment, so I was more then pleased with the group of Gehrig's I came away with last night. I stayed away from the high dollar ones as none of them really had that special something that spoke to me.
I stayed up to almost 3am, but am very happy with the results. 1938 Lou ropes his teamates. Dickey, Gomez, Crosetti, and Knickerbocker 1936 Lou cools down at the fountain after the WS game 1936 WS coming out of the shower. 1933 with his future wife Eleanor 1929 Crossing home with the first HR of the season 1936 crossing the plate 1926 WS hook slide into third
