Sometimes it feels like SGC isn't even trying.
It makes me wonder what it would take to enter the TPG market. Acceptance of the brand is the biggest hurdle I can think of.

They have an attractive product and a solid reputation in the prewar community. Adding a verification system, or at least instruction how to do so, would help continue to grow their brand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

As a collector, it seems like they are taking that solid reputation for granted. Their pop report is laughable and supposedly they have been working on that, for what, two years? I'm not even sure they want to grow that brand.

I tried to verify the serial number of a SGC card by looking on their website but did not find a way to do it. Then I found this thread. I guess I need to send an email to them about the card in question?
