SGC - How do I verify a card's serial number?
I am trying to verify the serial number of a SGC card. Can anyone point me the right direction?

I know they were working on it last summer...I'm sure they are aware of the issue and will have it revamped soon enough. I still appreciate their customer service!

I send them an email and they respond with verification of what card the serial # is associated with. I do wish it could be done online

SGC has never offered this as a service on their website. Best thing to do is to just give them a call or shoot them an email with your cert number and they'll verify it for you.

The only way I've been able to get SGC verification is to start a set registry and add the card.

Why don't they offer the cert check on their site? I just that is ridiculous, especially compared to their #1 competitor PSA who makes it very easy to do this...just seems they'd offer people that service to verify their product.

Add me to the list of people who would really like this. Unfortunately I don't believe that they will not offer this even with the new website.

I agree. It seems like a no brainer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Sometimes it feels like SGC isn't even trying.
It makes me wonder what it would take to enter the TPG market. Acceptance of the brand is the biggest hurdle I can think of. |

They have an attractive product and a solid reputation in the prewar community. Adding a verification system, or at least instruction how to do so, would help continue to grow their brand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I tried to verify the serial number of a SGC card by looking on their website but did not find a way to do it. Then I found this thread. I guess I need to send an email to them about the card in question?
