Nice photos! Mind if I ask who your uncle was and who he worked for? I'm always interested to learn more of the background of the guys who took the great photos that we still enjoy today. Too many times they remain anonymous, or even if the photographer's name is known, we know nothing about the man behind the camera himself.

He took photos for Joe Dimaggio, Micky Mantle, Charlie Grimm, Al lopez, Mel Ott, Carl Hubble, Charles Gehringer, James Foxx, Paul Waner, Ted Williams, Al Simmons, Vance Arthur, Henry Greenberg, Jack Robinson..... A lot of negatives left. Many team photos too.

Can you imagine in today's world, a player of Dimaggio's caliber having to be satisfied with signing for 37.5% less than you were asking for and then being fined each day you were deemed to not be in shape? RC
