A couple of months back someone put for sale on ebay, vintage photos of larger spalding trophies with the same base as the one that just sold on ebay.
I almost started a thread here and was wondering if anyone had ever seen these large and magnificent trophies. I only know they are large because there was a photo of a team with the trophy in the picture. Last, my gut feeling is that the ebay auction that just ended contained a trophy that was not really part of the base. Anyone have any idea or more information about these vintage and rare trophies and/or if the ebay auction contained the wrong trophy for the base?
