Not sure that's possible.

David steroids with a grand slam. Pretty sad cheaters help decide games. Love how fenway fans cheer for their cheater but god forbid another teams players cheated and he gets booed and steroids chanted.

Well,
Jim Leyland did it again. Over managed his bullpen. What an idiot. This manager has done this before and with same results. Someone on this thread said it correctly yesterday, at the end of a game, Leyland should go back in the dugout and smoke his cigarettes and forget about making any calls.

At least I'm willing to admit our players cheated unlike hypocrite sox fans. Also enjoy the new record of 32 strikes in 2 games and barely splitting 2 games at home.

You`re right I admit it, I`d rather the Sox had been out of it and never made the playoffs at all rather than suffer this weekend`s shameful showing ! P S Throw the Patriots in there with them, embarrassing.

This thread has serious entertainment value. Of course Ortiz is cheating, he gets to bat without playing the field.

I guess nobody ever gets booed at Yankee Stadium?

Been there once I can't remember.

Yeah, well I heard that Jeter sliced two shots into the woods on the back nine yesterday, so nobody's perfect.....

Barely splitting two games? Guess one could say the same of the Tigers since the aggregate run count for both teams was the same.

Nothing like fanboy vitriol.

Hey,

Remember how the geriatric Yankees got swept out of the ALCS by these same Tigers one year ago? And couldn't get a run off Sanchez? I do. Must have been so embarrassing for Yankees fans...

Are you sure you entered your correct location you registered here?

With all of the celebration last night, how about Hunter's effort? He was REAL close to making an amazing catch.

I agree. I am from Boston but 100% give credit where it's due. I'm glad he's ok. The cop in the bullpen has become a minor celebrity around town. This was the paper yesterday.

Anyway, another amazing game today. Lackey stepped up big time.

To be 100% honest, I feel like he misplayed the ball. He actually overran it. If he takes the right angle, he's at the wall sooner and could very well have caught it. As it was, he ended up kind of having to jump against his own momentum and barely missing it.
