How about them Yanks? Oops, wrong postseason.

I'd rather not make the postseason, then be embarrassed like the Sox's were last night.

What do hemorrhoids and a Yankees cap have in common?

Eventually, every A-hole gets one.

After the last two Tiger games, the starting staff is going into today's game with a lot of confidence, not good news for the Red Sox.

Momentum can swing game to game, inning to inning. Boston has a very potent offense. I hope we don't see a return of the offense we saw September 4th. Everyone Detroit brought in to pitch was hammered at will with the result being 20 runs in 8 innings.

I was at Fenway last night (early this morning) and that was as frustrating a time I've spent at the park in a long time. Their inability to hit Sanchez had me very nervous now for this series, knowing what arms are in the queue for Detroit.

Lets hope the Sox can get back on track tonight!

Better for one game than a whole season.

Really?

You rather play a whole season and not make the playoffs than endure one one-hit game in the playoffs after having already won one playoff series?

That is certainly an interesting take.

I could care less who wins the series but come on.

I can see how you would feel that way...probably reminds you of how the Yankees felt when they were utterly embarrassed by Arizona in 2001...better they never even made the postseason than look so stupid. Two games in a row to start the series getting schooled by Schilling and Johnson...humiliating.

Probably better for you to just watch the Yankees highlights from 2013...a year long retirement party topped with a giant helping of fraud, childishness, epic selfishness and infighting.

Also sounds like the 2011-2012 Red Sox.

Not sure that's possible.

David steroids with a grand slam. Pretty sad cheaters help decide games. Love how fenway fans cheer for their cheater but god forbid another teams players cheated and he gets booed and steroids chanted.
