For the record, I don't think 81T is junk wax-- that said, I don't see a rational basis for it ever reaching the pricing mesosphere, either. It has some nice cards in it, but lacks the power punch of say 75 with all those HOF RCs.

I still think Tim Raines is a very deserving HOFer...well, in context with the guys who are already in there anyway.

i'm unfamiliar with cards from the 80's.
do the backs tend to be skinned? do collectors often choose to restore them? Is their lithography similar to the E98s or more like strip cards such as W515-1? Or are they more like photographs such as E126? ![]() Finally, are they housed in tins like the Fatima beauties or in pouches like the Polar Bear backed T206s. ![]() Please forgive so many questions. all the best, barry which emoticon is for tongue in cheek? |
