Gary,

I was reading the 1991 Sotheby's Copeland catalog the other day, and according to their write-up, only one example exists of the Ruth and Gehrig.

I don't follow that set, but I'm not sure if others have surfaced since then.

Best of luck in your search.

I would like a Type 1 E-107 of Nap Lajoie, but I don't think that will happen. I will settle for a really nice Type 2.

Tony

Thanks, Tony. A few more of the #4 Ruth and Gehrig have surfaced since then, and I have a copy of both. However, according to oldcardboard, there should be a #2 Ruth that also exists in a slightly different pose, and there should at least be one known but without the tab at the bottom.

Not baseball, but my toughest want list would be T218s (Champion Athletes and Prizefighters) with Tolstoi backs. I have a dozen different ones and am always looking for more.
