Interesting, I have been "sort of" collecting M116s for a little while, and have around 50 cards. Only one or two have black backs, so the black backs are definitely far less common.
I checked out that ebay auction though and that card definitely has a black back. I haven't been paying a ton of attention, but this is the first time I can remember seeing a blue version of a card with a black back. I am sure some of the guru's on this board will know the answer to the question though. hoshua4710, we're only about 20 miles away from each other. Not a lot of pre-war collectors around here, maybe we should meet up some time!
