If I had to pick 4, guess it would be these...

The '56 Williams is compliments of none other than Mr. Joey Farina...

Sometimes I get M@tt Miller and M@tt McC@rthy mixed up because both of their names are Matt M. and they both have great cards. Nice stuff, Matts

...and I dig that BGS gem Ripken Jr., Shawn.

Default Great Stuff

So many great cards! I really love looking at everyone's cards. I don't think I will ever get tired of threads like this one. I have never seen some of the Jackie Robinson Bond Bread cards.

Great stuff Guys!

Thanks everyone - will eventually post my BB set once I get the last card I need - just don't know when that will be lol.

Some excellent cards in this thread to say the least.

Well, we can't wait till Shaun finds another Jackie Robinson for his set before we post another card (that may be awhile). So, in an effort to keep this thread moving I'll post one more nice post war card. One of my favorites.

It wasn't easy but I suppose these would be my favorite post war cards in my collection. I know there are five but the two Aarons are hard to separate. For those that care about such things the Clemente is a PSA 5.

I definitely plan on adding the '54 Topps Aaron to my collection one day.

Not to get off topic but....I don't know if this is common knowledge because I haven't spent much time with the '56 Topps set until recently but I was looking at that '56 Ted Williams card and immediately my eye was drawn to the yellow strip of color between the top border and the name box. I've been looking at a lot of unlisted '60's print variations as of late so I thought I'd do a quick search and noticed there are variations of this card with different colors. The white back Williams variation appears to have a yellow or a green strip variation with the yellow strip appearing more times on ebay by a ratio of about 3:1. Here's an example of the green strip: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1956-TOPPS-T...item56568a8fc3

The gray back Williams variation appears to have a thinner sliver of color which I've only been able to find in a blue/gray color like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1956-TOPPS-B...item27d316ae4e

Default Variant color lines in 1956 cards

Many of the 1956 cards have those variant color line differences. I first started noticing them after reading about them in Dick Gilkeson's publication on variations. I picked up a couple of examples for my set but do not know if a full list of all the differences exists
