# 4 is Debs Garms who broke up Johnny Vander Meer's consecutive no-hit inning streak. He also won a NL batting crown.

Garms I got...the bottom one on #4 I can't figure.

I believe the bottom of 4 is Jimmy Wasdell. He played on the 1940 Dodgers with Whit Wyatt who's signed above him.

Tom,

#15 "JW Derby"? Going on your assumption this was a child's signature, and not saying it is the case, but here is an interesting 1940 census entry. This African American boy would have been 11 in 1945. Probably not the signer, but raises some interesting questions....
