Finding one of these undamaged has been a real challenge, but this honey presented itself on ebay recently

Beautiful piece, Mike... I love the dual-colored stitching, and the crazing gives it that charismatic antique look. Very "slim pickins" on ebay these days... great pick-up!

Default Mayo Tin - 1883

Here's a tin I haven't seen before - it's about twice the size of a cigarette pack - no ruler on me, but about 4x6 and 1.5" deep. Tax stamp on green paper has only the one date - 1883
