A Baseball Card Social Network
All,
Thanks for asking about the site and its purpose. I am the sole owner of the site. I'm actually a long-time baseball card collector and a part-time entrepreneur. The site is not associated with any auction house nor is it a means to show off cards I have for sale. The goal of the site is to create a Baseball Card Social Network that lets people in the community showcase cards they own and also advertise for cards they want to buy. If any of you use LinkedIn, you know how great the site has been at connecting business people via resumes. Or if you use FaceBook, you know how nice it is to connect with friends. The goal of WhiteWhaleCards.com is to connect collectors by letting them share their collections and wantlists. This sharing may be done anonymously.
