I plan perhaps afford a Ruth card before the end of the year...

Yep eric i am like you. Perhaps this year i will check for add the e121 ruth card in my collection... if my budget allow me

I also like the Goudey green background. Wish mine were centered a bit better but then again I wouldn't own it if it were.

Man, we are sleeping on the U.S. Caramel. The way he's rocking his cap with a tilt, and the bulldog mug-- I like the Red Sox images very much where he's fresh faced and thin...but this card captures the Ruth that became so wildly popular, at least to me. I find it tougher to locate than the Goudeys also, though the #53 is high up there in my taste.
