Thanks for the responces guys, love hearing from you all.
I also wondered if it was faded to at first. Untill I magnafied the scan on my pc, to where i could see the pixals basicly and only saw orange. So i desided to take a shot, and buy it. Here is the card again, along with 2 other faded red background cards, im thinking its not faded, because a faded red u can clearly tell was red. This card is orange.  I havent seen many like this, just the Ball and this one BUT here is one more that looks to be one ,on ebay now - http://www.ebay.com/itm/T205-Danny-H...item1e781e5fb6

The Ball I had was very orange in person. It's darker in a scan than in person. There was also no ink layers to be seen. When you hold it and look there is no doubt it missed the red pass.
I can say that one of my Hoffmans dont exhibit the bright red either. Looks kinda like yours. I will see if I have any more to compare to.

card showed up today....Its not orange, its red just like all the others. Very disappointed. But seller has refunded my money.
