So much for bargain prices on e-bay for postcards, this one would probably have sold for about the same through an auction house, unlike the Frank Baker from a few weeks ago.

Guess we need to name everyone on the PC and find the connection to Anna Greer. Or match the handwriting.
I was watching this too and hoping for the misspelled name to keep the price low.

What are the 2 marks directly below "me" on the reverse ffrom the writing? Is that park of PC of hand writing?

The bottom of the address is c/o SRSN

Slippery rock state normal school, a teachers college.

The two marks under the message look like two trees underlined.

Maybe some sort of rebus puzzle? The obvious would be Underwood, but I can't find an Underwood with the Pirates, so that's probably not it.

While the auction was live, I did every type of search I could think of and came up empty, including comparing handwriting to that of players pictured on the card, googling their wives' names, etc.

I think the sender was just joking around, especially given that the players are i.d.'d on the front of the card.
