i wouldnt just look at virginia its possible that its from ohio

it does not match the 1910 portsmouth VA team uniforms as shown in the T210 cards

I just found this image of the 1908 Portsmouth Cobblers , Ohio State League. Looks like the same pattern as mine and the ones in this photo look to be "Home" and mine is definitely the "Road" Jersey.As we know, pre WW1 uniforms were definitely dramatically different from each other, like the 1909 Chicago Cubs Home and Road jerseys.Again, mine also could be a later road version. Thanks for the Ohio tip. What do you guys think? Mike

I believe Victor Sporting Goods was located in New England. That may have some bearing on this being for a team in the area.

Default Victor uniform

Thats a beautiful uniform. Have you tried searching in old spalding guides? I know they show photos of many teams in them - not just the major league squads. If you google loc.gov and spalding guides, you can view page by page many of the spalding guides online. They don't have them all digitalized, but there is a nice assortment of years.
