No, a 74 Topps Holtzman. And I recalled it wrong. Bottom right corner of the sheet. Here it is along with a few other modern freaks. (Guess which one isn't factory)

And apologies for getting off topic for the thread.
My one T207 is both normal and in horrible condition. I haven't scaned it yet, but it might be in the running for worst T207. Steve B |

OK, maybe not a freak, but definitely one that makes you go ... huh?
This card was the topic of some debate when the Obak full sheet was auctioned having both horizontal and vertical images - see http://sep10.hugginsandscott.com/pl/...ncut_sheet.jpg The Adams definitely shows the same characteristics. |

The horizontal/vertical layout may be the reason that a lot of t207's are cut short top to bottom but are 100% original, they were the horizontal cards on the layout.?? They would have had to cut vertically first and then cut the remaining horizontals apart, which could also be the reason for the number of diagonal top and bottom cuts on some of the shorter cards.
Just a thought. |

I think you're dead on, Scott.
There are a variety of cards you find with MC and OC on the other axis, or more MC/OC than other cards. Needing to make those cuts would seem to drive more process failures (so to speak) on that set of cards. -- Mike |

Very interesting card Mike and I think you are on to something. At first glance I thought maybe that was the sole horizontal card next to it, twice on the sheet, but it is obvious that your surmise is the correct one, that the bottom row was printed horizontally as opposed to the vertical remainder. |
