Yes, I have asked for more photos to be posted. It just boggles my mind that the seller wouldn't have included photos of the most important jersey attributes.

There was a thread on GUF about this jersey, Dave actually called it out. It appears he now feels it isn't good. You'll have to do a search.

I agree with Ken, that I think there is a thread on GUU. I would have looked it up, but once again GUU is not working.

Should try creating a game used section here and bring the people from GUU over here?

The Mediema COA is dated 1991, and I believe his COAs back then were generic like that. There were no photo LOAs from anyone back then. Mediema himself is a highly respected gu expert (Huggins and Scott uses him to authenticate their jerseys, and used to work for MEARS), but I would ask him personally about the COA, especially if you plan on placing a bid. I believe there were a few cases way back when where his COAs were copied/ill-used by others-- but, as I said, it's best to talk to him.

double check with miedema to see if it is legit coa. or ask for assurance from seller that it will pass a recertification/inspection with miedema or your money back.

Dave Grob at MEARS is THE Reds game used expert. He was well know as a Reds specialist before he was hired by MEARS.

Dave Mediema was on eBay's banned authenticators list, so the jersey should get pulled just for that reason.
