Though not baseball I thought this flip book might be of interest here since it was issued by Fleer in the 19th century:

These are my first two T206 pick-ups in a year. Last year while visiting family in Pennsylvania, I wandered in to a smalll card shop and found a Brooklyn Dahlen. Last week I returned after a year and found these two in the same shop. They were surrounded by shinny modern cards. He had no other cards pre-1989. It was odd seeing them surrounded by Buster Posey and Mike Trout so I rescued them. I picked up the pair for $210 which in my limited knowledge of this set seemed very reasonable.

Big thanks to Pete U. and BST.
I don't collect Obak's, but have always wanted a "Gilliam Squires" stamp.
Also enjoy the 1911's "multi-moldy-color" backgrounds.

Edit to say: I know the PCL played a long schedule, but some of the AB numbers these guys have are amazing !!!

That's great Scott, cool card. The funny thing is when I upgraded my Obaks, the first thing I did was get rid of all the cards which were stamped Gilliam Squires on the back

I think you did fine - that's one of the nicest Beckley cards I've seen. Like Tenney, seems to be tough to find that one with great color and registration. Also, that blue-background Evers is kind of tough.

Default 1933 Butter Cream Lefty Grove with Sept 1 back....

I have been looking for a 1933 Butter Cream Lefty Grove card with a Sept 1 back for the past 15 years. I missed out on two in the last 8 or 9 years, but was able to grab one late last week. I was so excited to cross this Grove card off my list!
