I like these cards and I have a set. I bought my set for $4 back in the early 80's. Does anyone else remember when they used to just about give these sets away? I should have bought multiple sets, but I just bought my one set and put it away. I honestly never thought they would be worth anything. Who knew!? Back in the day, the dealers acted like there was a glut of these and no one really wanted them. Did the set registry types drive up the prices and demand?

You did well at $4 for the set. I think I paid $7 for my set sometime in the eighties. The dealers were correct about the glut. This thread should answer the reason for the glut. It's taken a long time to absorb them and its still a work in progress. But it is a nice looking set.

I have 57/60 signed.
Need Farrell (of course), Clemente and Boyer.

Are there any signed of those players, I would assume Farrell
is much tougher than Clemente and Boyer, who cannot be
to easy themselves.
