Not all that many here but we have a couple. This is the best of what's left of the monthly shows on Long Island-held at Hofstra University Student Center. I hadn't been for years and decided on a lark to go yesterday as I needed some odd sized supplies and figured I'd fill in some holes in the lists. Probably two dozen dealers from 6 different states were set up but 7 or 8 had some vintage and one or two actually had E cards, T cards and a few other surprises.

I like the smaller shows for run of the mill, mainstream Topps and Bowman issues. I picked up some 50 Bowman Dodgers commons too, three Hodges cards and a couple of mid 60's Topps upgrades for my Mets team sets in addition to Campy. I almost bit on a 35 Goudey but thought the price was too high; turns out I was right so glad I passed.

There are about three or four monthly shows left on Long Island. There is also a bigger Hofstra show held twice a year and if you want to go 75 minutes North the White Plains shows are out there too. I am likely going to try and get a table at the spring "big" Hofstra show and try to sell all of my extraneous baseball books and programs, yearbooks, cards etc with the thought of dumping it all at the end of the show. I even have some Allstate showcases from my weekend warrior days I will finally sell.

If anyone here is interested and lives in the area, I would possibly want to split the table,which I think is an eight footer for $165 (two day show). There is enough room behind to bring your own backing table, which I plan to do if I go through with this.
