My cards from Goodwin arrived today. Very pleased! Still waiting for Legendary Auction winnings and they closed a week earlier. Why is that?

Legendary is just very slow, so you'll be waiting a while. They received my check on June 4th, and the funds were withdrawn from my checking account on June 5th. I called them today, and they said that they weren't going to ship until June 17th since their policy is to wait at least 10 days after personal checks clear before shipping. I asked them why, and they said it's just their policy since inception.

This is a standard business procedure and I can't blame them for that. Generally if it is someone that has done business with me in the past or if it's a small amount I will just ship it, but of all things this isn't something to get pissy about.

I won several cards in SCP including the Boston Store Sisler, the Tom Baker Joe Jackson which I stole and the Zeenut McMullen which I can't believe sold so cheaply.

Yea, I guess so, but it seems slow when other auction houses ship a lot faster. Huggins Scott, which closed around the same time, has already shipped my win, and they only waited about a day after my check cleared. The amounts are different (~1K for Huggins/Scott and a little over 4K at Legendary).

I think your wins are from Mile High and not SCP, which hasn't closed quite yet.

i got my goodwin card today.. i opened the fed ex box... to find a smaller fed ex box... i opened the smaller fed ex box... to find a fed ex envelope... i opened the envelope to find a bubble envelope... finally I found my card...

I appreciate shipping secure but it actually became funny. the 4th packaging is where I started to laugh out loud.

Thanks Goodwin. for the card and the laughs..

agreed.. more laughing at goodwin.. then with them...

wonder what stopped them from going with the 5th box inside a box. I thought 4 was a little to easy to get to my card.

It would have been very ironic if it was packed like that, and this was the item you had won...

Congrats on the pickup of the McMullen. I was goning to run it up but decided to wait for a nicer looking one. Congratulations on it though. It's a tough card.
