You know you've got the pennant bug when you start collecting softball.
![]() Don't worry...I've got it too. I've added quite a few New York City travel pennants to my collection and am branching out to other places I've been and love. That's been pretty much my experience too with that era of pennants. They improve, but not by as much as older pennants do. I think your after photos look better than the before though and that's the point. Interesting that the bleach turns the black paint in to Royal blue. Love the new pennants too.

Agree.... the Royals Pennant (while not perfect) looks a lot better. Well worth the effort on that one!
Great Packers Pennant as well... Congrats! |

Haha - yup, the bug definately bit me! I currently seem to be in 70's era defunct leagues...wha, apspl, wfl, nasl, misl, etc. - totally a slippery slope! But the vintage stuff is too cool to pass up!
Yeah, I agree it looks a little better. I don't love the results, but it is an improvement. The new royal blue lettering was an interesting occurance. Thanks! Showing pick-ups are always fun! Rob, your recent football pics are rediculous - very impressive! |

Very happy to have acquired this scarce 1945 Cubs pennant.

You got a good deal on that, but I don't think you have it yet. I also bid on it for resale. Be careful for unscrupulous gawkers or it may not make it.
