I wrote to Rube Marquard and Paddy Livingstone a couple of times each back in the 1970s after their addresses were posted in The Trader Speaks.
They always responded, sure wish I had gambled and sent a T206. At the same time I was mailing around a photo of the 1927 Yankees, after I got two signatures including Joe Dugan I chickened out and just sent 3 x 5s to the few other survivors.
