I likewise had a 5 figure package signature required simply left at my back door even though my son and I were both home at the time (we didn’t hear his truck and there was no doorbell or knock). About a half hour later he came back in a semi-panic and of course I gave him my signature; he was our usual delivery guy and we were on really good terms.
