I'm happy to have just added this Rex Barney 1948 signed no-hitter ticket stub to my collection.
I now have tickets to 222 different no-hitter games dating back to 1901. Of the 222 different no-hitter game tickets, 163 are signed by 169 different no-hit pitchers. Although I already had a couple of tickets to Barney's no-hitter, I never have seen owned one that was signed, much less owned one. To be honest, I never thought that I would ever find one. I wouldn't be surprised if this is a 1/1, but you never know... This ticket is the 4th oldest signed no-hitter ticket that I have in my collection. Bob Feller's Opening Day no-hitter in 1940 is my oldest 26 of these no-hit pitchers are now sadly deceased. I'm always looking to add earlier vintage no-hitter tickets to my collection. Please reach out to me if you think you can help. ![]() ![]() Stay safe out there, everyone! Last edited by Scott Garner; 03-30-2020 at 07:15 PM. |
