Default Great image

Corey,
I love the group image. I am away from some of my research books right now, but I would check the images of other sports writers in Athletic Sports and Spink’s National Game, first. I think it very likely they are sportswriters as it looks like it could be a field with the fence in the background, they seen to have programs of some sort of writing material, and a carriage would make sense for a special event of some sort. I can’t read the writing at the bottom, can you make it out? Also, I have seen reference to the fact that the Brooklyn photographer, Pearsall, was a friend and took Chadwick’s portrait every year on his birthday. Pearsall May be in the photo, or may have taken it.
Right now I can’t think of any other books that have lots of images of other sportswriters, but I will check when I can.
