Up for your consideration is one of the more unique yet affordable pieces on the market.

Circa 1910, It is believed that the figural piece depicted in this cast iron bank is actually Ty Cobb.

The resemblance is clear, from the facial features to the split-handed grip.

Of course the figure itself appears a little pudgy to be Cobb, but what good is a skinny bank?

The piece measures just under 6" high, with a hand-painted cap. The reverse contains a coin slot, as well as a screw that takes the bank apart, enabling the owner to remove the bounty. The figure does exhibit some wear, but displays well.

The perfect amount of patina.

$125

Up for your consideration is a outstanding “Rookie of the Year” pin featuring the one and only Jack Roosevelt Robinson.

The 1.75" pin features a photo of Robinson, the recipient of the first ever Rookie of the Year award, on a white background. A red ring surrounds the outside of the circle, with white text reading “ROOKIE OF THE YEAR 1947 JACKIE ROBINSON”.

This is one of the earliest examples of a Robinson pin on the market and one of the toughest pins to aquire.

A beautiful example of an exceedingly rare pinback.

$255

Up for your consideration is what we consider one of the most overlooked and under-appreciated pieces of sports history on the market today.

This is a recruiting pamphlet used by the Brooklyn Dodger Baseball Organization in 1949 to help bring in top talent from around the country.

It is our opinion that these now scarce pamphlets were handed out at the time by Dodger scouts at try outs to potential recruits to help convince them to join the organization.

The booklet contains some fantastic bullet points such as:

Money in the Minors

Money in the Majors

World Series Dividends

along with other amazing perks such as George Sisler hitting instructions and photos of the 1947 NLCS Parade at City Hall in Brooklyn.

This is a dream piece at an affordable price.

$170
