I got smoked on the T207 Weaver, Weaver and Felsch auto balls, and the Old Mill Cicotte. Thankfully was victorious on the M116 Cicotte though, so not all bad.

Thanks Ryan and Brian. Ryan, I think there was 3 way action on it, which makes a good floor for value. I was hoping you went to bed early on Sunday nights!

Interesting. I hope there were 3 of us, but what makes you think that? At around 11:15, I went back and forth, with I think one person, bidding 5-6 times over like a 10 minute period. Then, once extended bidding started, I had a smaller version of that for like 2-4 bids, and then, later in extended bidding, I had to re-up several times against someone who would let the clock almost run out before they bid.

Seemed like the 50s 60s and 70s shoebox collections went thru the roof unless I did the math wrong. Thought I was strong on a few but got smoked.

Thanks - and yeah, three Lewis cards at once - not the best, necessarily, for the sellers.

The T206 Cobb green PSA 5.5 went for 33,600 w/BP. Seemed low, but the centering t/b at 30/70 to 25/75 neighborhood (l/r nice). Curious what you think centering % t/b ? And how much did it cost the card, $10.k ?

I don't think the centering has much to do with it. Green Cobbs in general have dropped off quite a bit from a couple of years ago, more than almost any other pre-war card of note. I picked up a nicer SGC 1.5 for $7500 (as we all know, key cards of key players only go up up up!). I'd be lucky to get $4500 for it today.
