We always have threads about major auction house wins. This one is for losses. I really thought I had a good chance at the N142 Duke cabinet of George Davis, which happens to be his rookie card. It was at $1,000 at the start of the day. It went for $4,700 plus the premium/penalty. The next bid, with the premium and tax would have been $6,200, so I dropped out. I'll probably regret it tomorrow, but my wife's happy I didn't spend the money.
