Seemed like the 50s 60s and 70s shoebox collections went thru the roof unless I did the math wrong. Thought I was strong on a few but got smoked.

They did...they way over paid IMO

Yeah I think if I ever sell all mine in one fell swoop its going to REA.

Thanks - and yeah, three Lewis cards at once - not the best, necessarily, for the sellers.

The T206 Cobb green PSA 5.5 went for 33,600 w/BP. Seemed low, but the centering t/b at 30/70 to 25/75 neighborhood (l/r nice). Curious what you think centering % t/b ? And how much did it cost the card, $10.k ?

I don't think the centering has much to do with it. Green Cobbs in general have dropped off quite a bit from a couple of years ago, more than almost any other pre-war card of note. I picked up a nicer SGC 1.5 for $7500 (as we all know, key cards of key players only go up up up!). I'd be lucky to get $4500 for it today.

I have noticed green Cobbys come down a little too.
