The October 22, 1909 game between the Chicago Leland Giants and the Chicago Cubs featured pitchers Ed Reulbach for the Cubs and HOF'er Rube Foster for the Lelands. This pass would have been valid for many negro league games including the one mentioned above. This is one of the earliest known pieces of Negro League Baseball History. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Also available is an exceptionally rare 1949 Brooklyn Dodgers Season Pass valid for every game of Jackie Robinson's historic MVP season. Up for your consideration is an exceedingly rare set of 8 different 1950's Big Leaguers drinking glasses produced by the All-Star Sports Association.
This amazing set comes in it's original box and ready to be displayed standing at 5.25 inches tall. These glasses are in impeccable condition given their age and the fact that glassware rarely holds ups without chipping, flaking, or cracking. The set features the following Major League Baseball Teams: 1. Brooklyn Dodgers 2. New York Yankees 3. Boston Red Sox 4. New York Giants 5. Cincinnati Reds 6. Pittsburgh Pirates 7. Kansas City Athletics 8. Chicago Cubs This glass set rarely makes it's way on to the market, and when it does it is usually missing a team or three. Up for your consideration is one of the most unique Mickey Mantle signed offerings we have ever seen come to the market. This custom made 3-Dimensional autographed Mickey Mantle wall plaque is simply astonishing. The Mick signed his name proudly and boldly across this magnificent piece of memorabilia allowing you to see it from across the room if need be. All our items are 100% authentic and guaranteed original, however SGC has certified this amazing piece to help give you peace of mind. SGC is one of the leaders in sport card grading and authentication. $290

Up for your consideration in an exceedingly rare 1940's AAGPBL Macgregor Goldsmith Baseball / Softball.
A true baseball artifact it it's own right, this ball was made specifically for the woman who were asked to play baseball as entertainment while the men were away at war. Movies like "A League Of Their Own" have since come out to show the world just how important this time in baseball history truly was. While the ball is without a doubt a rare find, the true gem is the original box which you almost never find. While the box does exhibit wear, it still displays beautifully. One of the finest AAGPBL examples we have seen to date. $650 Up for your consideration an exceedingly rare 1937 USC Trojans All Time Football Team Award plaque given to Francis Tappaan. Francis Tappaan, a 1929 All-American end who lettered 3 years (1927-28-29), was a member of USC's first national championship team (1928). He played on Troy's 1929 Rose Bowl squad. He was a USC assistant coach in 1931 and 1932. He then held various professional positions in the business, education, legal and political fields, including serving as a vice president at USC, a lawyer and a judge. Press photo is pictured to show you Tappaan was but is not included with this lot. During homecoming of 1937 USC honored their All Time greats with these bronze on wood plaques which featured the Trogan Mascot. The original markers mark is still intact on the lower back of the item. One of a kind piece that you will not see again. ![]() ![]() Up for your consideration is an exceptionally rare 1913 Louis V. Aronson striker lighter made in the likeness of Honus Wagner. This lighter stands at a acceptable 5.25" and is a sure conversation starter. Aronson made many different types of lighters in the early 1900's, but this is without a doubt the most recognizable one. The condition is exceptional given it's age as the bronze shows the right amount of patina. While we do believe that the tear drop striker is a reproduction that was later added to replace the original one, the statue is certainly an original from 1913. Louis V. Aronson was a philanthropist and a leader of Newark’s Jewish community, who left his mark on history as the inventor of one of the most recognizable products of the 20th century: the Ronson lighters. They were almost permanent fixtures in the pockets, purses, homes, and offices of millions of cigarette, cigar, and pipe smokers in the years when smoking was perceived as sophisticated, not lethal. This lighter rarely makes it's way onto the market, and when it does the condition is considerably worse. Fakes have been floating around the internet as well, so buy from us for the extra peace of mind. $500 SOLD

Up for your consideration is an extremely rare hand painted early 1900's glass Philadelphia Baseball Player Candy Container - Bank.
The detail that was put into this piece is phenominal to say the least. We believe this was used as a candy container, however the lid has a coin slot which leads us to the conclusion that at one point it was used as a bank as well. This is one of the finest examples we have seen to date. $375 SOLD

Up for your consideration is one of the most exquisite programs that we have ever had the priviledge of offering to the public.
This is one of the most exceptional examples of a 1906 Chicago White Sox Championship Season program that we have ever seen. The front cover features White Sox shortstop George Davis in a brilliant portrait photograph. This example displays no major flaws and displays phenomenolly. The scorecard portion is partially scored as the White Sox did battle with the Detroit Tigers. Although Cobb is not present in the lineup, we are confident that he played in this game as we sifted through newspapers from the day after these teams squared off all season and Cobb played in each and every game. The notable players in this program are Hall of Famers Ed Walsh and Ty Cobb. While the 1906 World Series programs come up from time to time and sell for excess of $5,000, these regular season championship season beauties are even more elusive and are rarely found in any condition. A true historical baseball artifact from a time when baseball was just a game. $1100 SOLD

This program is jam packed with 9 Different Hall Of Fame players including Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Tony Lazzeri, Earle Combs, Waite Hoyt, Herb Pennock, Eddie Collins, Red Faber, Ted Lyons, Ray Schalk. Up for your consideration is an exceptional example of a 1912 White Sox program which is scored for the September 1st game between the White Sox and Tigers.
After much research and due dilligence along with numerous newspaper comparisons, we are confident that this game is scored for Game 1 of the September 4th double header. The White Sox cruised to an easy 5-2 win behind the brilliant pitching of Ed Cicotte. Ty Cobb squared off against Cicotte on 4 different occassions and was only able to muster up one hit. This example displays no major flaws and displays phenomenolly. Scored in pencil, it was obvious that this fan took great pride in their work. 5 Hall of Fame players are present in this program including Ty Cobb, Hughie Jennings, Sam Crawford, Ed Walsh and Ray Schalk. Up for your consideration is an exceptional example of a 1915 White Sox program which is partially scored for the July 10th game between the White Sox and Senators.
After much research and due dilligence along with numerous newspaper comparisons, we are confident that this game was intended and notations were made for the July 10th game that ended in a 5 inning tie due to rain. Due to the fact that the program shows no signs of water damage, it is our belief that starting pitcher notations were made prior to first pitch, and the fan(s) may have left due to inclement weather. What makes this program so exceptional is the fact that Walter Johnson fired 5 innings of one run ball. This example shows no major flaws and displays phenomenolly. 5 Hall of Fame players are present in this program including Walter Johnson, Sam Rice, Eddie Collins, Ed Walsh and Ray Schalk. A true historical baseball artifact from a time when baseball was just a game. $600 |

Up for your consideration is an extremely rare and spectacular example of a 1917-1918 Louisville Slugger YMCA Logo Ty Cobb Baseball Bat.
This beautiful 1917-1918 Hillerich & Bradsby Ty Cobb baseball bat has the triangular Y.M.C.A. Logo and features the "Dash Dot Dash" center brand from the 1916 - 1929 H&B bat Labeling Period. These baseball bats in excellent condition will range in value from about $150 for a common player such as Walter Holke to about $3,500 for a Hall of Fame player like Ty Cobb. Other players that have shown up in auction include: George Sisler, Tris Speaker, Eddie Collins ($280.-$425) and Joe Jackson ($3,321.) Player endorsed bats found with the YMCA logo are identical to professional model bats from the same era which were known to be used during major league games. Clark Griffith came up with the idea in early 1917 of creating a fund for supplying baseball equipment to servicemen at home and abroad. To finance the project he asked every man, woman and child in the country to donate 25 cents. He wanted all baseball fans to remit their quarter and then send out four chain letters asking for the same; hopefully this system would prompt all Americans to contribute to the effort. The drive gained immediate attention on May 22nd when President Woodrow Wilson endorsed the plan and remitted his quarter. Griffith began mailing kits to troop swhich included fielding mitts, catcher's mitt, chest protector, first baseman's mitt, three batts, twelve balls, 3 bases with pegs, a rule book and 125 score cards. In late October, Griffith worked out a deal with Spalding, Reach and Wilson. Finally, Griffith's old teammate (Bill Large) went to France as an emissary for the YMCA. He was sent to coach soldier teams for the YMCA and to possibly establish, in the wake of American presence in Europe, and International Baseball League. In total 3,100 kits were sent out. These YMCA bats were used by troops overseas with absolute certainty. This was purchased by us directly from an estate in France and we are confident of it's provenance. $2000 NO LONGER AVAILABLE. Up for your consideration is an exceptional example of a circa 1910 Baseball Board Game by the Pan American Toy Company.
This very attractive game features a beautiful lithographic box lid, with a home plate scene that includes what we believe to be a Detroit Tigers batter, a catcher and umpire. This spectacular game includes a game board, numerous pieces, a scorer, and small lithographic dugout scene piece holder. This seldom seen and very attractive early baseball board game shows some wear as should any game over 100 years old, however still displays phenomenally. A true baseball related artifact from the good ole days. $595 SOLD Up for your consideration is an exceedingly rare circa 1920 Benny Leonard Cigar Box. This is one of only 2 known boxes in existence according to Adam Warshaw (author of America's Greatest Boxing Cards) who is an authority on boxing memorabilia. This unique cigar box is 9" wide, 5-1/2" deep and 2-5/8" tall when closed. The inside of the cigar box top features a exquisite illustration of Benny Leiner A.K.A "The Ghetto Wizard" A.K.A Benny Leonard who was a professional boxer of Jewish descent and is ranked as one of the best boxers of all time. While this amazing piece of boxing history shows some wear, it still displays phenomenally. An amazing artifact from almost 100 years ago that deserves to be displayed proudly. $375

Up for your consideration is an exceptional example of a 1911 Pittsburgh Pirates Program.
The front cover of this scarce program features illustrated portraits of Pirates President Barney Dreyfus, along with 4 political candidates for Pittsburgh. The front cover also has the date of the game in which the Pirates took on their rival Cardinals written in pencil. Our favorite part of this program is the infamous Honus Wagner T-206 Portrait image which can be found a few pages into the program. While there are some minor flaws, the colors are vivid as ever and this piece of Pirates history displays fantastically. The scorecard portion is not scored, however the final score of the game is written neatly on the Pirates portion of the scorecard. This program is absolutely loaded with Hall of Famers including Honus Wagner, Fred Clarke, Max Carey, Bill McKechnie, Roger Bresnahan and Miller Huggins. Up for your consideration is an exceptional example of the 1888 baseball themed board game entitled "The Champion Game of Baseball". The Champion Game of Baseball was published by the Proctor Amusement Company of North Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1889. The front of this box features a fantastic drawing of a late 19th century baseball batter and catcher on the field of play. The inside consists of a baseball field printed on the bottom of the box with a metal spinner in the middle, a rules sheet on the back of the top cover, and an envelope with nine blue and nine red cardboard disks. There is not a lot of strategy in this early game as each team uses the spinner on its turn to bat. Most of the results are either outs or hits (spaces for single, double, triple and home run), but there also are spaces for strikes, balls and base on balls. It is therefore possible but unlikely to get three strikes or four balls. There is one space for a foul ball, and any spinner stopping on a line is considered a foul as well. The one strategic option open to the batting team is whether to have base runners try to steal. In this event, the stealing team spins again, but uses an outer ring where the results are divided between "out", "safe" or "sacrifice" (where the runner advances but the current batter is out). An out result always picks off the lead runner. The condition of this early artifact is fantastic for being 129 years old. Own a early baseball artifact from a time when baseball was in it's infancy.
