There are currently only 60 people still alive in the United States today who were alive when T-206's were released (1910-11)
The oldest American was born in 1906 There are three left from 1907 Four from 1908 Nine from 1909 Nineteen from 1910 The rest from 1911 Not sure what any of that means, but it's odd to realize that there are people who were alive when they came out, though too you to know anything. |

I wonder if any of them collect T-206's?

But it will be many years before the last person who remembers seeing Babe Ruth play is gone!

The last member alive to sign the Declaration of Independence lived until 1832. There could theoretically have been someone who met one of them - and - met someone still alive in America today.
Our country’s history really doesn’t go back that far, does it?

President John Tyler has a living grandson.
Not great-grandson....a grandson. |

I hope someday I can make the claim to be one of the last people alive when something happened or that I witnessed

And another grandson just died. This is the same John Tyler who was born in 1790 and became the 10th (let that sink in!) President in 1840 that has a grandson alive, and I think he's still in his 80s. I've been delighting in blowing minds with that one since I found out about ten years ago.

Sell your T206s now because they will be irrelevant and lose all their value soon! Picachu is the new Ruth |
