Gum

I started buying 1 cent packs in the 1950's and it was for the gum. I saved the Orioles and the rest were eaten up by my bike spokes. I bought unopened boxes of 1959 Topps 1 cent packs from a friend...

Good buy

That was a super deal on the lot. The Mantle on ebay sold for $1263.49 and it looked more like it was ripped from the panel than being cut. It was listed as a POP 1, so I would cross over to PSA. The...

I would say page flipping. I bought some 1950's sets in albums a few years ago and the 54 Bowman set had really suffered from flipping thru over the years. The cards slide up and the corners get...

I'm not sure how close to 30 x the loupe really is, but I am satisfied with the magnification for checking jewelry, silver, art, and now cards. I also use an eye clops (toy) bionic eye that hooks to...

jewelers loupe

It is really hard to judge the Henderson from the photo. I use a loupe to check the corners of my cards and have pretty good success in selecting 10's. I have even better success eliminating the 8's...

Memorial Stadium

I bought a few hundred Johnny-Pro Orioles in the 1980's at Memorial Stadium in Baltimore. I was in the Orioles store looking for older unsold stock, and the lady found them in a filing cabinet. I...
