Default Value of T206 Hindu's?

Just curious what the current market calls for when purchasing T206 brown Hindu's? Commons, SL'ers and HOF'ers in SGC 30-50/PSA 2-4. Thanks all!

Brandon

Your question allows for huge permutations....a common PSA 2 is far different than a HOF PSA 4. In general, I've seen some Brown Hindus valued at less tha 2 times regular backs, and I've seen some Hall of Famers in PSA 3 or better go for almost 8-10 times regular. A little less than 2 years ago I sold a PSA 1.5 Hindu Walsh for $125, a decent price at the time, about 3 times the regular back value. And I recently bought a PSA 4 Hall of Famer for about 5 to 6 times book.... You really can't beat VCP for a price history, there are just too many variables to give a comprehensive answer to your question. The best I can say is that the premium shouldn't be too much, unless it is a highest graded of a HOF or a 1 of 1.

Default Not the way I see it...

Let's take a common T206 card of Birdie Cree. A PSA 2 Cree with Piedmont 350 would probably sell for about $25. Turn that same Birdie Cree PSA 2 into a Brown Hindu, and you may be looking at a ten-fold increase. Just think about it: If a PSA 2 Hindu was on sale right now for $250 on the BST, would you buy it? I probably would...

Default Re: SL'ers

Pound for Pound, I would say these are the current prices for a run-of-the-mill Sl'er (minus Shag/Foster/ a few others) with a Piedmont or Old Mill back:

PSA 1 - $40-$50
PSA 2 - $60-$80
PSA 3 - $90-$120
PSA 4 - $160-$200
