SGC Authentic T216 Cobb, Kotton Cigarettes

SGC graded authentic 1911-16 T216 Ty Cobb Kotton Cigarettes, serial #1224752-003. Card not given numerical grade due to being trimmed - SGC. Card measurements are 2 and 3/4" x slightly longer than 1 and 1/2"(but less than 1 and 9/16"). SCD specs are 2 and 5/8" x 1 and 1/2". Two measurements along each side showed same results.
Card also has a half inch back wrinkle at top above TT in KOTTON; does not go through to front.
Card also has tiny wrinkle at elbow level, bat side. Very tough to see unless you use correct light, magnification and angle.
Upper right and left corners have some softness.
Several C=C double bonds have poor sp hybridization orbitals (funny if you took organic chemistry).
Great looking card. Gloss, registration, centering are very nice; no paper loss, writing.

Can send larger scans to interested parties so they can view it better.
Will answer questions in morning. Drove 6 hours to see E107 Wagner at Ft Washington show this morning. Must check ebay to see if I can get a life.

Thanks for all the e-mails; refreshing to see some collectors care more about the card than the plastic holder. The card will be sold to the first reply. Decorum must be upheld. Hope I am not out of line here but, maybe contact the new owner at a later date for possible re-sale; the card is his for the listed price.

Craig- congrats on the nice pick-up. I was hoping maybe you and Richard might change your minds and the card would then fall down to the 3rd person to reply (me) but alas, such was not the case. BTW I made no offer on the card other than to just say I'd like to buy it for the listed price if it fell down to me. (See Leon's post on the Main Board).

Craig - congrats from me as well. I was hoping and praying last night as I went to bed that you would change your mind. Hopefully I can come up with something down the road that you may be interested in so we can work out a trade. I have some ephemera coming to me from the New Orleans Library archives which talks about the officers in the People's Tobacco Company. When I get it, I can send you copies if you have any interest to display it along with your card.

As for Leon's comments about others trying to outbid previous offers, that is absolute crap and I hope that no one ends up with an item that way. Stuff like that is what is wrong with the hobby.
