T205 CY YOUNG variation???? Get it cheap

I was going to hit the "Buy It Now" until I checked my wallet and noticed that I was $99,993 dollars short (just my luck). And I thought I was was going to have problems getting the Hoblitzell card to finish my set.



I faintly see what the seller is talking about, but I contribute the straight up look more to the blurriness of the card on the left. What are the thoughts from the experts on the board?

Frank, you're right. When the printing on one of these cards is not sharp and a double image results sometimes the eyes on the player depicted can make it appear as if he's looking in a slightly differnt direction. Just check out the eyes on a bunch of T206 red Cobbs. It's not a new variation, obviously. I'm just surprised that this card is not residing inside a double-wide in Virginia somewhere.

Before I read through Jeff's post I was thinking of the Red Cobb. It has to do with printing registration, I think. I'm sure our resident expert Joe D. can fill us in with more detail.

Why would you have a BEST OFFER if you didn't want to sell it? Why start a price at $100,000 instead of say $1,000,000.00? I have a sneaky suspicion that if someone offered $99,000.00 he would take it.
