Where are collectible values headed?

With the current financial crisis in full-swing, do you think the value of sports collectibles is headed up or down?

There seems to be a race to 'safe havens' like treasuries and low risk investments as the equities outlook is getting bleaker by the day.

Where would you put your money? Into tangible assets like vintage baseball cards, or low yield/low risk financial instruments?

Or, are the prices of cards too high right now, and due for a correction as well?
