Schulte holds the record, along with Wille Mays, Jimmy Rollins and current Detroit Tiger Curtis Granderson, as the only players in MLB history to have 20 steals, 20 homers, 20 triples and 20 doubles. Surely that deserves a thread of his own!

Its going to have to go on my list as one of the nicest crafted baseball cards.

I am wondering though.... is his left leg on the ground? to me it looks as though it is hovering a little bit up in the air.... but that can be an optical delusion

One of the neatest Cub nicknames of all-time...Wildfire..
Frank was "friendly" with Lillian Russell, a hottie theatrical actress who was the star of a play named "Wildfire". He owned and raced trotters..and named his favorite after that play..and ended up getting the name himself!!

That Cracker Jack Schulte is a thing of beauty. I love how Granderson's achievement managed to bring Schulte out of the cobwebs of baseball history and back into the news again. Getting in the 20-20-20-20 club is pretty impressive. Amazingly, Schulte was the only guy who did it in the pre-WWII era. He must have been quite a player, no doubt the equal of his more illustrious teammates, Tinkers, Evers & Chance ...
