| More markings on the backs of T206s

Posted By: Chuck Seems like this was discussed a month ago. I've listed some of the markings that I have on the backs of mine and wonder if anyone has any that match or can provide insight. |

Posted By: brian i think i mentioned this in a similar thread a while back. i read somewhere many years ago that F. Scott Fitzgerald was a huge baseball fan as a teen and his father would give him the baseball cards out of packs of cigarettes he smoked. F. Scott amassed a huge collection of them and stamped the back of each card with an old english style capital "f" in black ink. although i have never seen one, supposedly many of these are still in circulation because his daughter inherited them when he died and then sold his entire collection shortly afterward. if there are some still out there, i wonder if they would bring a premium? or maybe not since the mark would have to be denoted on the slab as a flaw (mk)? |

Posted By: George Here's a red date stamp on one of my T206 cards which looks to be September 24, 1909. I do have a few others with other odd markings on the back so if I get a chance will post those as well. |

Bump. Curious to see what happens as this thread is archived. Recently became interested in the subject again and then found this thread that I started in 2007.

| As of yesterday, my total is up to 375

And know of 37 more with the stamp that aren’t with me. Just last week, five I didn’t know about became available and I was able to get four of the five.
