The end of a seemingly never ending quest. I sure did not think it would ever happen but this is the last 1909 Obak needed to complete my set. Thanks to all those who have helped me over the years.

Welcome home, Mr. Harkins.

Congrats. A great set. I remember when these were $5 cards and very few people were interested in them.

Matthew,

That's a great accomplishment! What a tough set.
I've never even owned one of those babies.

Good for you. Way to stick with it.

How many cards makes it complete? How long did it take? Which were the hardest ones? Etc.

Good going Matthew! Now is the time to start on the 1910 Obak 150 series if you are up to another challenge.

With the recent prices on them, I am glad I started when Obaks were relatively affordable. The last few cards needed were Ehman, Henley, Flannagan & Mohler along with Harkins. It took almost 2 years to find the last 8 cards or so.

It took a little over 5 years to get them all so I am just going to enjoy it for a while before thinking of starting another. The monster will always be there looming so I may just pick a few off here & there. I still have 1 southern leaguer & quite a few minor leaguers on the wantlist. Any other suggestions?

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

Matthew
